School Days

Hey there everyone! Wanted to share a few pictures from the kids day in school. Joshua did a drawing with coloured crayon, covered by black crayon, then drawn on with a pencil to remove the black. The picture is actually titled "Fireworks" celebrating Guy Fawkes Day here in England.

Second we have a note that Hannah received Friday on her desk for her Thursday's work in Literacy and Geography. She was so proud and her teacher doesn't give many of these out!

Next is Sarah's 'brass rubbing' she did while visiting the Heritage Center here in Durham. The picture itself and the method, brass rubbing was typical of the Mediaeval times. They had a great time that day. All the kids hope you enjoy the pictures.
Lastly are some pictures of the fireworks from Guy Fawkes day, see link above and fun from home. A few of Matthew too! He likes his new haircut. We have had a little trouble at the barber the first few times. Too short does not look good on Matthew. We are letting it grow out a bit. Enjoy everyone!
