Snow in Durham!

Thi post's title is a webcam link for Durham Cathedral at any given time. Thought it would be fun for those of you back home.

Also, PLEASE NOTE that I am trying to find a new image host, and these images are thumbnails. You may click on them for a larger image.
We woke up Sunday morning to white blankets of snow. It was beautiful. As a matter of fact, it was snowing just about all morning. The kids have never gotten ready for church so quickly. I think we were all just about ready by 9:00am. Good thing, Jeff preached last Sunday, and it did go very well. They have put him on the rotation each month for one Sunday. It was a good foot in the door.

Another event on Sunday was Matthew's sore throat. He woke up with that awful sore throat again, the third time in 32 days. He wanted to go to the hospital (or "to hospital" as they say here) and get antibiotics right away. We went about 5:00pm, and were sent up to the children's ward where we saw the doctor about 8:20pm. Matthew had been given more pain medicine to help out in the mean time. Doctor said his throat was so sever, that they would do an antibiotic IV and fluids. To make the long story short, Matthew has stayed in two nights (with Jeff) and hopefully will come home today. We are just waiting for the phone call. Me and the kids went up to see him last night and we got this great picture.

Matthew is feeling much better. Once we got into the van and started heading home, Joshua was crying:( Said he missed Matthew. He didn't stop till bed time, at which point (and I had tried everything!) I put Joshua in Matthew's bed to sleep. He stopped right away and went to sleep. It will be good to have everyone home again. And thanks DAD for sticking it out at the hospital! It isn't the quietest place on that children's ward!

Hey! These thumbnails fit well, think I like this format. Don't have to have the calculator at hand adjusting photo sizes!

I can't believe ya'll got snow when here in Ruston it was 80 degrees yesterday in February. We had to open some windows. I love seeing the pictures of your family. Glad to hear Pator Jeff is getting to preach some.

Just re-read your comment. Sorry about Matthew being sick. Hope he gets to feeling better.

You really should check into http://www.photobucket.com for your picture hosting. It's free.

WOW!..Matthew's illness & hospitalization, the beautiful snow, Jeff's return to the pulpit,...
The pic of M,H,S,J,C,&A together is SO good (despite M's condition). They're all so attractive. Miss them.
And that Abigail...could kiss those cheeks over and over.
Take care of each other. Am praying for Super-M to get well soon (He needs someone to "blame" for his illnesses, faux pas(s)).
Love to you all :-)

Funny timing & density, BJ (...was posting my comment while you were posting yours; read yours after I'd posted mine). Maybe Super-M's crypto is himself! HA!

BJ-you and Mecow must be on the same wave length...or SOMEthing. And about that profile picture, there is something different about you, but I just can't pick it out...RHEA

Kay - thanks for the info. The one I am using is free as well, but if I need to, I'll look into photobucket. Rhea
