Hello, once again. We are on our 6th week of not being well. All the children are doing better, though Caleb is still running a fever off and on. He did, in fact, have and ear infection. Our doctor told us that she would not prescribe antibiotics for an ear infection. There is immense pressure on the doctors here to not prescribe them. I have been told that they are in a back-lash mode for having prescribed too many in the past. Anyway, Caleb's eardrum did burst a week ago, Sunday. I felt so bad for him. He is feeling better though and the doctor says it should heal in a couple of weeks with no damage. We are monitoring it. We are going to consult with the other doctor in our surgery (clinic), and if he is of the same mind, we will switch surgeries. I have found a doctor only 1 1/2 miles away that WILL prescribe antibiotics for secondary infections. Thank you for all your prayers, Caleb is feeling much better, though still fighting this infection. Abigail had it as well, and I gave her some antibiotics we brought with us. I just couldn't stand seeing her in pain and didn't want the same thing to happen to her.

On a lighter note, here are a few photos I thought you would enjoy. The three of Abigail in the pink and white shirt are of our dryer here. She crawled in one day and Caleb shut the door. She loved it! I happened to have a picture of her in our dryer back in LA. The pictures show the difference in the size of appliances from the US to the UK. Our dryer here is even bigger than our washer! Of course Abigail is a little bigger now, but I think you can see the difference.

Next we have two photos of snow. Not sure if you can see it, but it looked like a light blizzard, but didn't stick. This was the week before Christmas.
That's all for now, I'll do another post today and try to catch up with our photos. Take care all. Rhea
