Early evenings

The days are shorter now and when the sun has been out, the sunsets are magnificent. Here are some pictures taken on Monday (the 15 th) at 4:18 pm. The first is part of our route homes. Joshua is in the picture. It was so beautiful. I have enjoyed the early evenings more than anyone else, because dinner gets ready earlier, and we get to bed more on time. It seems that most of the children here eat dinner between 4:45 - 5:30 pm. In the evenings, there are activities for children like swimming. Some children ride horses on the weekends. It will take a while to get into the swing of things!

I have been pleased with the children learning a little bit of French in school. Even Joshua can count to 11 in French! Sarah has joined German Club on Thursday afternoons. It is free and only open to year 3's. She really enjoys it. Christmas is a big season here as well. I found out a couple of weeks ago that the choir that the girls are in will be performing in the Durham Cathedral! What an opportunity! Matthew will be performing in his boy's choir all around town as well. He has about 8 performances. The children are doing well and I am so happy about that.

Lastly we have Abigail. In most of her pictures she is making a funny face with her eyes squinted and her lower jaw cocked off to the side. In these pictures she is saying, "Cheese!" in case you hadn't figured that out. Well, I finally got a normal picture of her. She is a doll. She is getting so big and we are having fun training her over-active will and mind to serve the Lord. She is just a ball of fun and energy all the time. Perfect compliment to Caleb (most of the time!). What a blessing.

Miss you all - Rhea
