Saved the best for last! This is an Alaskan King (or snow - can't remember) Crab. It was huge! I'd say it's legs in this picture were at least 3 feet from one side to the other.

This critter has been my desktop wallpaper for a week or so now. It's like a train wreck; too creepy to look at but you can't help but stare at it! And "3 feet"?! Whew. I don't much go for crab legs, but I'd just as soon eat one as encounter one in person.
Trying for the umpteenth time to leave a comment about this creepy creature who was my desktop background once upon a long time ago.
I have enjoyed reading; but can't seem to make my comments stick.
