
These photos are taken in Plymoth. The rock is, yes, Plymoth rock. Would have thought it to be bigger, I know. Story has it that people would chip parts of the rock off for souviners and eventually a Greek type monument was built around the rock (which is covered at high tide) to protect and preserve it. In the second photo, you can see the pillars and cast iron of the monument. Plymoth rock is behind and below my Mom, Dad and me. The third photo is of the
Mayflower II, a replica of the original Mayflower. We toured the boat, it was really neat. Don't know if I would have made that journey. What a time they must have had. Fouth photo is the back view of my parents boat. We are in the dingy heading back to the boat. Had lots of fun on the boat! Felt woozy once, but got over it. Thank God for dramamine!

That's an awfully small rock! I too, thought it would be bigger.
