Can't believe it, but it is here. September 5th, first day of school. Caleb was so excited too. Two Fridays ago we watched Sahara, great family movie. So the kids are all saying "How are ya?" like guy in the movie with a southern accent. Hannah, Sarah and Joshua walked themselves to the Junior building and I stayed with Caleb until the bell rang. We found his peg in the cloak room then proceeded to the classroom. There we found his name tag, hugged a while, then he spotted his friend Sam. That was the end of that. He kissed Abigail and me good bye and was off. Abigail asked to stay too, but she'll have to wait:) Mom was more sad, and walking home with Abigail was quiet. Pray for us all as we begin a new year and may Caleb keep up his courageous spirit! Love you all!

Rhea,
the kids look great in their uniforms! My cousins in Austria still have another week of summer vacation, and then it is back to school for them, too.
We have enjoyed the pictures of you guys and the British countryside so much; keep them coming!
Take care,
Barbara
I forgot to ask you: are you going to be teaching music class again this year?
So, how was the first day of school? Any new friends?
Barbara - don't know what I'll be doing this year, not teaching or subbing at this point. Trying to get all my ducks in a row for two years down the road.
Jessica - the kids had a great first day. Caleb cried one day and was a little tired last week, but everyone has done so well. The kids are very positive and are really trying to be kind to their friends even when their friends are not. They could use your prayers, school here is difficult socially, they just don't have good friends like the Pierces, Hirsch's and Jonkers around!
