Our second trip to Lindisfarne, Holy Island with Volney and Betty. We had a good time, but where was my head? These are the only pictures I got - 9 pictures? I am sure Volney got more - I'll have to check with him. The kids played at the playground and we went into the Priory. There happened to be a play that day put on by the Blue Chicken Theater Company. This was a group of 2 men and 2 women who played numberous parts with masks and costumes. The play was 90 minutes long and it was about two famous women pirates. The kids really enjoyed it and it was quite humourous. We had a great day, the weather was absolutely perfect and of course we brought home a fair amount of mead ;D) I will get some pictures of Volney and Betty up here soon but they are in Scotland at the moment until Saturday.
