Today Betty, Abigail and I took Sarah to her football training. Sarah will be training this summer and then the season will start this September. She is SO excited she can hardly stand it. The Deerness Valley Football Club has run for a few years, but they have had trouble getting parents to commit to practises and games. They have good funding, and maybe will do better this year. Each Saturday, they drill for 30 minutes, then scrimmage for 30 minutes. Sarah has a few friends from school who attend also. She absolutely loves it!

Ricky and Barbara - Volney and Betty are just loving it here. They have been to York, around Durham and to Holy Island. They are up in Scotland now till Saturday. It's their anniversary! I think they are having a great time. The weather has been just great.
Brad - I wondered if any one would see that shirt! She'll be sporting a Newcastle shirt before too long. I think she'll really take to football here. Take care all!
