Notice Abigail eating with her left hand? She is also very careful when she eats, so sweet.
After the cake, and mess, we had to shed the clothes. The Veggie Tales bus goes forward when you push BOB, the driver, and plays the Veggie Tales theme. Then the horn honks, and the bus goes in reverse. We enjoyed the screams and laughs of excitement from Abigail! What fun! Notice how popular Abigail's toys are with Sarah and Joshua. Sarah has a phone with answering machine. Madeline calls from France and you can record your own message. Johsua is playing with the Veggie Tales sketcher. Abigail didn't care, the bus won her heart from the start. Thanks MOM!
Life is going by so fast. Can't believe that Abigail is 2. I have submitted Nursery applications for Abigial and Caleb. Nursery here is like pre-school rather than a day care. Caleb can go as soon as there is an opening and Abigail can go when she turns 3. Nursery is provided free for children ages 3-5 who are not in school yet and it is half a day, 5 days a week. I really did want to keep them home, but we are finding with the accent difference, Caleb and Abigail would benefit from being around that in order to understand their teachers better in school. Caleb is still pronouncing a few sounds with difficulty. I am concerned that he won't be understood in class or understand others. Nursery for a few months will help him adjust a little. Also, I am taking on a few clarinet students. By next January, I may be able to get into the school system teaching lessons half days when Abigail is in Nursery.
Last picture is the latest from the family taken at our church, St. Margaret's Church of England. It is so beautiful inside. Though things are slow going, we are feeling more at home every day. Jeff is having more encouraging conversations with our Priest, Father David Glover. We are working diligently to be faithful where we are, and look forward to what God may hold for us in the future.
Thanks again for your prayers and support. Rhea

What may be confusing to some when Rhea mentions Nursery is that it is daycare. That is not what Nursery is here. Nursery is a "pre-school" where the children learn letters and some phonics along with what it is like to have to sit in a classroom with other students and learn. We have had to learn some new ways of speaking ourselves here so I thought it may be helpful to any readers of this to realise what Rhea means when she says Nursery.
Happy Birthday, Abigail!!
Cool, she's a linkspoot. Mark's mom used to say, "that means she's in her right mind".

Ahh, Abigail. Your hair is so pretty.
Could just hug you over and over, sweet girl.
Love,
