We had out first doctor's appointments yesterday, me and Jeff. Unlike what we've seen on Mr. Bean, the system here is very quick. We expected a long wait, but they have a 24/48 hour system set up where you are guaranteed to see the doctor by 48 hours and sooner if needed. We were in and out and even had time to have Caleb and Abigail's ears checked, which are fine! The nurse explained to us that as we are getting acclimated to a new country, we will have runny noses and sore throats for a while. Isn't that nice? To say the least, we were very pleased with the staff, cleanliness of the office and the quick visit.
I am still catching up on laundry and more so now, ironing. The laundry always has to be going, since it takes 1 1/2 hours to wash a medium sized load. I have to keep up with the ironing now (Jeff and 4 kids uniforms!). It isn't too bad though. I think it is getting easier.
Hey, if any of you have been wanting to send a little care package :), I have thought of a few light in weight items that would be wonderful to have. We could even send a check if someone were willing to send a box, because it is expensive. Anyway, there is no boxed macaroni and cheese to speak of here. And you know how we used to buy that! The lightest boxes would be the original Kraft, where you add butter and milk. Also, the salad dressing here are horrendous. Really, I never thought there could be so many bad salad dressings available. Packets of Ranch dressing would be a wonderful thing to have stocked up. Other than that, all is good here. We do miss having Velveeta cheese every now and then. I never bought it much, but for a dip with salsa it can't be beat. Just a thought.

Well, must go and change a diaper (nappy), get the kids dressed and iron clothes. I will have the kids take some pictures of me and Abigail together. It seems I never get my picture taken. But, another 10lbs. lighter has done me good, and I hope to keep losing! All the walking has been great here.
Enjoy these pictures from our front and back gardens.

hey, Rhea! Sounds like life is exciting! All your pictures look great. Jessie and I are going to try and get a box together for you guys. Though I find it hard to believe ya'll could be wanting mac 'n' cheese. You almost OD'd on that and hotdogs those last weeks in Calhoun!!! Stephen is running a fever today, but not sure why. Just keeping up the motrin. He is getting so big so fast! Check our blog for updates. Love and miss ya'll, Adrienne
